Another day, another two pilots for J.J. Abrams.

Abrams' Bad Robot Prods. and Warner Bros. TV picked up pilot orders from NBC and Fox on Friday. NBC greenlit "Believe," penned by Alfonso Cuaron and Mark Friedman, who exec produce with Abrams and Burk. Project revolves around the relationship between a young girl with a gift and a man sprung from prison who is tasked with protecting her from evil elements.

The Fox order went to an action-packed buddy cop show, set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with human-like androids. It hails from "Fringe" showrunner J.H. Wyman, who exec produces with Abrams and Burk.

Don't see the point in this guy, they use his name and attach him to the pilot then he has no further involvement in the show.

Well, that's same with Steven Spielberg! They used his name for two crappy shows like Terranova and Falling Skies.

JJ Abrams's name is used because his company Bad Robot produces the shows.

It's also good that many movie actors, directors and producers are making tv shows now.

David Goyer (Man of Steel, Dark Knight producer/writer) is making Da Vinci's Demons for Starz.

Alfonso Cuaron made Children of Men and his cool scifi movie "Gravity" is coming out this year.

The other fringe guys are good. I'm happy that good scifi shows are coming. Since fringe ended, there's no good scifi show left.

Looking forward to Darabont's Long Angels (LA Noire), Stephen King's "Under the Dome," Goyer''s "Da Vinci's Demon's" and Believe and the android cop show sounds cool too.

This one actually sounds promising, though.
