I remember playing an Atari when I was young (mid-late 80s), but never actually owned it... Must have been one of my brothers' friends consoles... I believe the original NES was the first our family had... Also had SNES as well.. Also remember playing on a Sega, but didn't belong to us... Played the original Sony Playstation, N64... Remember using the "Powerglove" for Nintendo back in the day... Also used the "Virtual Boy" system in the mid 90s... I think starting in the mid to late 90s though, my attention shifted to computer games, and after that, I never much cared for console gaming... Not that I was ever good in the first place, but u know... :-p

Oh, and my family also owned the original GameBoy...

I had the following,

Atari 2600

Celico Vision

Sega Master System

NES

SNES

Atari Lynx <= anyone else own one of these?

Sega Dreamcast

Sony Playstation

Playstation 2

Xbox

Game Cube

Xbox 360

Play Station 3

Wii

NES... Probably 5th grade.

Two vivid memories...

Waking up to beat Zelda for the first time at 5 Am one morning before school.

And...

I found a way on Zelda II to get a sword that had a strange symbol/distortion across it in the indicator that would kill any enemy with one hit, even bosses. It was found by accident, and had to do with the contacts of the cartridge sitting in an odd way with the contacts in the console's bay.

Still never beat the game though. The path up to Gannon's castle was a bitch.
