So you are saying you want more gun homicides and to you that increase in gun homicides is justified because at least then law abiding citizens don't have guns? That makes sense in... well.. nowhere. Stop drinking the cool-aid.

85 gun homicides compared to 11,000 in 2011.

Show me some UK bashing threads? Preferable try to stay on topic.

So being anti gun is now classed as "US Bashing"?

In the UK, limited guns has caused gun homicides to decrease. Grats. In the USA, banning guns has had the exact opposite effect. Those are the facts that you are willingly ignoring over and over and... Until you can realize that the UK /= USA, you will continue to spout the flawed logic and continue to not recognize history. Pretty sure you are doing it on purpose at this point though.

Here is the list of European countries whose most recent murder rates exceeded the U.S.'s.

? Greenland (19.2)

? Russia (10.2)

? Moldova (7.5)

? Lithuania (6.6)

? Ukraine (5.2)

? Estonia (5.2)

? Belarus (4.9)

Banning them in certain states won't work, it has to be a countrywide ban.

Rates are getting low and lower every year but statistics and facts don't work in this argument anymore.

No but this is:

Americans are too selfish to put it into practice.

and this is:

land of the free, OH SAY CAN YOU SEEEEEEEEEEEEEE........

Banning them in certain states won't work, it has to be a countrywide ban.

Which we know can't happen since there are plenty of legitimate reasons to own them, not to mention we actually have borders that are impossible to patrol. Also, you are still arguing that we don't have the right to defend ourselves, meaning you are belittling the value of human life giving you no ground to stand on to begin with.

Slightly lower year on year isn't anything to be proud of when you have over 11,000 gun homicides alone a year.

No ones saying you don't have the right to defend yourself, the fact that you need a gun to do so is a sad thing.

No but this is: selfish americans

Hardly bashing when it is fact, all you hear from pro-gunners is me me me, they dont want gun bans, they dont want heavy restrictions, they dont want magazine restrictions, they dont want semi auto rifle bans, etc.. etc.. even go as far as threatening the government that they will shoot anyone who tries to come and take their guns away, naming no names.

Banning them in certain states won't work, it has to be a countrywide ban.

This will not happen/

While the most recent murder rate is fairly low for the United States, we often hear that other countries like Australia, Japan and the UK have much lower murder rates. If we want to compare countries, we should not "cherry pick." Let's look at all countries. The United Nations collects such data. Out of 206 countries, the US ranks 103 - smack in the middle.

Whether it is sad or not isn't the topic. You just admitted it is a fact. You just defeated yourself.

You woudn't need them if guns were out of the hands of the general public with HEAVY restrictions on just being in possession of one.

You woudn't need them if guns were out of the hands of the general public with HEAVY restrictions on just being in possession of one.

Yes you would because its not the general public that go around murdering people. It's people with mental issues and criminal records who are the issue, who, contrary to what you seem to believe, are already legally not allowed to own a firearm. You are just arguing that only criminals are allowed to have guns because the law doesn't apply to them the same way it does to us. Go ahead and ban guns in Texas and see what happens. Gun crimes would sky rocket. Most of the illegal guns in Texas come in from Mexico. We see them as far north as here in Oklahoma. No amount of laws are going to change that.

Criminals do not go to a sporting goods store and purchase weapons. They buy them on the street where they get their drugs. This has been said many times in this forum.

If it doesn't back up their view point, its not a fact and it doesn't matter how many times its been said.

i do not like why people have dogs poop on my lawn and i have to clean it up but not enough to hurt anyone.

I have had a dog for 15 years and he does not run wild. When we take him for a walk we take a plastic bag to pick up his poop.

yeah i wish everyone did that. I setup a webcam on my window, caught the perp and reported to the HOA. All they do is fine them but still have poop in my yard.

Not true. There's a lot of disinformation being spread by the pro-gun nuts.

It is true. 14% bought their guns from a licensed dealer and that was probably way before they had any felony convictions. If you are a convicted felon , you cannot purchase a gun legally from any source. And speaking of Sources you cold have made that graph. I posted what I did because I know it to be factual from personal experience. Oh and citizens that own guns and or belong to The NRA are not Nuts as you say!

What you said isn't factual, it's anecdotal.

The graph is from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Sounds like the old man shot some white trash. Good for him.

I believe they were hispanic.

I really see this as a failure on the property management's part.

The old guy did complain, and they did little or nothing.

At the least the bad tenants should have had to either get rid of the dog, or move out.

Same difference, except it's mostly OK to say white trash, rather than another stereotypical racial descriptor.

I'm just glad the dogs were not shot. Although now they will probably end up in a shelter, and may be put down :/ But you're right management should of stepped in. Also don't get me wrong, the old man is scum as well. Humanity sucks.

    • So, recently, I saw on the news (yes, on this website) that Samsung is introducing features where it can provide education using AI-powered sets, and because of this, I got concerned about whether the AI gives out wrong info during education sessions, causing controversies in the process. What are your thoughts on this?
    • TCL's Bang & Olufsen soundbar is 40% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The TCL Design Series A65K is currently $299.99, down from $499.99. That's 40% off and $200 saved on a soundbar tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which is not a combination you'd normally expect at this price point (purchase link below). Bang & Olufsen doesn't typically show up in the sub-$500 category. The Danish audio brand is known for speakers that cost several times more, so having their acoustic tuning on a $300 soundbar is very appealing. TCL handles the hardware, B&O handles the sound engineering, and the result is what the company calls "accessible luxury." Still, accessible luxury isn’t full-fledged luxury, so don’t expect wonders. But this is a decent soundbar, nevertheless. The A65K is a true 3.1.2 channel system with nine physical drivers, including genuine up-firing height speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Many soundbars at this price simulate overhead effects through virtual processing, rather than actual hardware. So, you’re getting the real deal. The design is unusually slim for a system with Atmos compatibility. The bar is just under 2 inches deep and should fit beneath most TV screens. The wireless subwoofer is also compact at roughly 14 x 14 x 5 inches. Total output is 460W, and you can connect to the soundbar via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.3, or USB. There are also eight sound modes through the TCL Home app and an AI calibration capability. Although it’s worth mentioning that AI capabilities in most of these devices are inconsistent, to say the least, and that shouldn’t be the biggest selling point. Still, at $299.99, the A65K is a strong buy for anyone who wants a soundbar that sounds and looks noticeably better than what this price range usually offers. And the Bang & Olufsen branding surely sounds nice - pun intended. • I sure hope the AI does not give out wrong info during education
