Not a nice way to say it but it's true. Testing it with any benchmark program will give you the same results with or without the tweak.

But personally I think it was worth trying it, good job!

What CajunFox is doing is incredibly useful. I have tried it on three different machines, and it is excellent for machines with less than 256MB of RAM. Obviously if you have a 2GHz processor and 512MB+ of RAM, this program won't be for you. ;)

Okay I can see a lot of people are having problemss understanding the RAM thing, I use the program, love it and have given it to all my friends. This program is cool and it isn't even the final version yet, it's just bare bones...

okay as for the RAM thing, I've studied several OS architecture and the following statement is true. "Page file is slower than volatile RAM, and does slow the computer down considerably" BUT, you have to understand how paging works, I'll explain, if for example you are running an SMTP program and you are accessing the SMTP from paging as apposed to primary storage (RAM) then obviosly it will be really slow, BUT in this case what the program does is Turn off all the services and processes, THEN it flushes the unsed programs (which at this point might be 10 - 15 megs ONLY because you just stipped XP to its core) into paging making a lot of room in RAM, this DOES NOT slow down the computer because you are now playing a game not using the SMTP. If you were to use the SMTP then obviosuly the computer will be slow. In this case, this rule does not apply because windows does not need to access paging for any other program. My english is a bit poor so sorry if I made too many spelling mistakes.

If you guys play a lot of console games using an emulator and have low ram (less than 512) then you guys will notice a big difference. I use a lot of emulator games like PS2, Zinc and without this prog I can't do anything.

I will talk to cajunfox and see if i can post a screenshot of the tool. He is bit busy to do program but someone else is completing it now.

okay here are some screenshot, cajunfox is on msn right now so those who have his email can chat to him. also looks like its gonna take some time the hosting server crashed and killed off the cms cajunfox had, now he needs to start looking for hosting and cms so beta testing and bug reporting can begin, until then please be a little patient.

This is a shot of the alpha stage, i used this for over two years. The new program is very customisable.

Wow I like the look of the program. I just want to say that I'm not the developer of the program, I did initially come up with the concept but I'm the worst programmer in the world. The guy who is working on it is can be contacted here [email protected]. I'll let him know that there are plenty of people who will host it. :)

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
