Benchmarks results on my 512 mb, AMD XP 2100+ 1.7 GHz, ATI 9800XT (using Omega 2.5.58 drivers) system

3dmark 2004, at 1024x768, 2 sample AA, optimal anistrophy (4 max), optimal shaders

Without optimisations:

Game 1 (Wings of Fury):

114.4 FPS

Game 2 (Battle of Proxycon):

31.8 FPS

Game 3 (Troll's Lair):

27.9 FPS

Game 4 (Mother Nature):

37.2 FPS

Ragtroll:

19.5 FPS

CPU Tests (uses the cpu more than the gpu):

Test 1:

35.3 FPS

Test 2:

6.2 FPS

With optimisations:

118.1 FPS

It has for me in the past. But it seems you are running games which don't require alot. This thing is meant for people who have a slower system, maybe a GeForce 3. Of course it wont help you, th e 9800 doesn't need help. Don't dog it, I loved this thing when I needed it.

Right, First beta is here. I accept no responsibility for the harm it may cause to your computer.

All this does is create 2 batch files and a VBS file. One batch file stops the services. The other starts them again. Sorted.

You may see a few errors pop up in the CMD window, but it will NOT matter, because basically you do not have those installed on your computer. The same will happen when you undo the changes. I gave this a slight test and it seemed to have worked.
