VHS player and a TV capture card and software (such as VLC) to record it.

Not sure about worldwide but in the UK you can send off the videos (with some money of course) to some specialist companies that will transfer it professionally to DVD for you, better and probably cheaper than you'd be able to do using a capture card.

Thanks. Roxio makes a mini USB device that I can buy for like $60 and hookup to my computer. Probably not hte best quality but these tapes were recorded from old film real. So its not the best quality to begin with.

Cheaper since I have access to a VCR. Places like Walgreens will do it as well but they charge like $50 for a 2hr tape.
