There seems to be a growing number of broken links in this forum. If possible, could all authors please check and repair their links.

/edit: I am only talking about the links in the Software (Branding) Contribution forum

Links go down, servers go down. Bandwidth is used up.

Why not PM the author or searching the net for it instead?

Just thought I'd put a general not in this forum - I can get the stuff, yes - I'm just trying to make it easier for other people.

Um, is a big ask when you think of it.

Think of it this way, i have posted 2950ish posts, now about 20% which is 590posts that may contain links ranging back to Nov last year when i joined.

Im not going to go back to every post i did to check to see if the links work, nor do i have the time.

Im sure others with alot of posts will agree.

Good idea Yes, but unfeasible and quite frankly too much to ask for.

Well I think the main reason a lot of links are down is because some of these posts happened a few months back (and were just moved to this thread) and probably were removed. lol As far as my links being down... it's cause my program is a Bandwidth hog and keeps bringin' servers down. lol But yes, it would be nice if everyone would update their links... but I don't know how much this is going to do for it. lol

yeah it's understandable the links go down but snippet & I need them to complete Neowin Software Suite so if your an authour and you see this thread, it saves me having to hunt you down :D

Neowin Software Suite is a program you both are working on what would it consist in those programs? And where can I see them?
