I am personally not for gay marriage, but not because I don't hate anyone nor I am a bigot. It is simply because it's a slippery slope.

What is considered morally wrong in society can change over a period of time. Marriage starts to be watered down and start to lose it's meaning and I believe that God created marriage for a man and a woman from the beginning to have a strong family and to procreate.

You see it as discrimination, but then you could say the same thing about a 50 year old and a 15 year old wanting to marry or one man and many women wanting to get married.

The entire homophobia thing is really tiring. Very few people who are not for gay marriage are actually scared of being gay and have no desire of hurting a person who is gay.

I have had many men hit on me when I lived in West Hollywood, California and I was flattered, but that isn't for me. One time I was getting some food in the La Brea area and my wife noticed this blonde dude having that look and smiling at me. The funny thing is that I didn't notice right away until she said something. We both laughed about it and knew it was part of the culture there. I was better looking back then because I was younger. ;-p

It's not about taking something away, it's about stopping the moral decline in this country. You may laugh about Pedophiles getting married, but this is how it all starts and then people are going to say what is wrong with Pedophiles? You religious people are the problem.

Remember those who have their own morals and do not base it off of anything will change overtime and this is what we are already finding out.

We would never allow it? I disagree with that. In 10-20 years morals are drifting to the point where if a 54 year old man wants to get married to a 12-15 year old that it will be possible. As I said morality based on what you feel is a moving target. Adolf Hitler also had morality based on what he felt at the time and we see how that ended. My point is that morality based on how you feel at any given moment tends to change and float over a period of time. If you base your morals on something that doesn't float then you will stay with those morals.

I don't hate gay folks. I think Ricky Martin does look much more hotter than me. I said I just don't agree with marriage for the reasons that I posted. The fact that people can't have an opinion that is different than yours and being labeled as a bigot is the thing that gets me.

No, it's not a logical fallacy at all. There are really things called a slippery slope and we can look into history to see this. Check out WWII for example with Germany for example against the Jewish people and see how that ended up.

Your excuse is just to allow anyone to do whatever they want however they want and that isn't free, there are consequences that have to be paid (no matter what the excuse is).
