Hey all,

So, I am looking to grab one of those Bows or Crossbows. I have a limited budget. Not exceeding 60 USD. I have checked Amazon, but since I am a total noob in this category, I cant come up with anything.

So I was hoping someone here with actual knowledge of these things, could guide me. I would love a Crossbow, but I don't see one that fits nicely in this budget of mine. Nonetheless, if someone knows another site which has a world-wide delivery system, and lists a good Crossbow in the budget, I'd be happy to look into it. Bow is a totally cool alternative here. I wont mind it, given the tight budget and I can see some listed on Amazon with pretty good ratings in the budget, but then again, I don't know jack about them, so I am not finalizing anything here.

Help me out, please. Much appreciated

Regards...

Okay lets take the crossbow out of the picture.

What about the Bow?

I have been reading this ones review and they seem to be satisfactory.

And this one too

Uh..

"The Bear Archery Brave 3 Bow Set includes everything young archers need to get started in the sport of archery. Recommended for children aged eight years old and up"

Like Wildwayz said....$60 will get you a toy.

Those cheap ones are for kids and beginners shooting at targets that are, at most, 10m away. A 20lb draw length will give you a really slow velocity.

A true bow will easily set you back at least $400-500 for a bottom line bow.

Also depending on where you live, it might be illegal for you to possess a crossbow. Where I live, it's only legal to have one if you're a handicapped hunter.

$400-$500 is a little high, you can get decent stuff in the $300-$400 range.

Here's a pretty good list of crossbow laws:

The thing is, this only applies to hunting - just owning the bow is not illegal in most of these states.

With a sight, arrow rest, and arrows?

The cheapest Mission bow (which is a quality beginners brand), is around the $300 range, and adding your accessories and arrows will tack on another $100-200.

Not a bad xbow. Top of the line? No. But for a newbie for $350 for a full kit is really nice. You're right in that its only 3 arrows, so that will add something.

It's complete trash - half the features I need in (Classic) Outlook are just missing in New Outlook. I haven't talked to a single person who actually likes the new client.

"Hey Siri, help me write this document about shoes." Powered by Google. "Sure thing, while we're here, can I interest you on some Nike's? They're on sale at Target right now!"

    • ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard is 27% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE is currently $159.99 on Amazon, down from $219.99. That's 27% off and $60 saved on a keyboard that combines retro and modern design, while being one of the most responsive and adaptable 75% boards available right now (purchase link down below). The ROG Falchion Ace comes with the HFX V2X magnetic switches that allow you to set actuation anywhere between 0.1mm and 3.5mm with 0.01mm fine-tuning steps. It also comes with Rapid Trigger, a feature that resets the key the moment you release it rather than waiting for a fixed reset point, which makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. And finally, an 8,000Hz polling rate should make the response time feel instant. The build quality is decent, with dense plastic and powder-coated aluminum, which is expected from a keyboard at this price point. There’s also the onboard adjustment wheel, which lets you tweak actuation and Rapid Trigger sensitivity without opening any software. For competitive gaming, the ROG Falchion Ace is hard to beat at this price. And those who appreciate old-school hardware, especially those white keyboards we’ve all grown up with, will likely also appreciate the looks of this keyboard. A carry case is included.
