The Best Song You Have Ever Heard

Recommended Posts

A hard question.

With so much music, it's tough picking the best from a bunch of awesome tracks. However I think my winner has to go to:

Howard Blake - Walking in the Air (from 'The Snowman')

However it's only the instrumental end theme on a piano that I really like, sort of stripped back.

What's your true best track of all time?

According to iTunes, I believe this one has been listened to the most:

Citizen Cope feat. Santana - Sideways

But to be honest there's no way I could decide on a favourite song of all time. My taste in music is somewhat varied, and every track has a different feeling for me.

Hmm I don't think I could ever pick a definitive best because... well what Intrinsica said :p

Right now I'd say this acoustic version of one of my favorite songs because it's the song that helped me to get over an ex recently and also spurred me on to learn guitar, 2 months later and I play guitar about 2 to 3 hours a day and can play stuff that my tutor could only play after 9 months so it really has opened up something to me that I love :) Did what I just say even make sense? I'm extremely hungover so bare with me.

According to WMP play count: Rammstein - Stein um Stein (340 )

But surely it isn't an all-time favorite or the best ever. I usually do it this way - keep playing a certain new song (or several) over and over for a few days (and it's the best ever for that amount of time, too), till I can't stand it anymore, and then I happily forget about it for a long time.

Hmm, this is tough. It's out of Metallica or Anthrax. Although all of Metallica's songs are good, I'm going to say Metallica - Leper Messiah

If I could consider the black album a single song, then I'd go with the black album as the best song ever.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools.
