Multiple video file format conversion software? Help

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm trying to find a peice of software that can take a folder of video files (ranging in format) and output them into 1 unified file format.

I have thousands of rips from over the years and I want to find a way to convert them into .avi so everything is unified and all my different media players in the house can play video no problem.

I looked into handbrake and watchfolder but watchfolder is unsupported and doesn't work with handbrake, plus handbrake only outputs into mkv or mp4.

Any ideas? Is divx plus any good?

Have you looked at handbrake?

I did yeah, Someone in another forum post recommended it, It only supports mkv,mp4 output and doesn't let me set an output FOLDER only an output file, which sucks.
