I wish to apologize for things that happened to delay the release. Just know, that every second I've got has been put into this... and I feel bad that you've had to wait as long as you've had.

Last i checked you aren't getting paid for this yet seem to be spending an huge portion of your free time on this project. I think there is absolutely no need for apology especially since you seem to be on top of it!

Hopefully you can find some additional help for the 2004 releases so you can relax a little more.

Soon... it's coming... only two more uploads left to go... got the eMule/eDonkey links ready, and the torrents ready as well... this will happen tonight! (Y) Now then, I need to run to the store for some wax paper (my mom is making home made Peanut Butter Cups)... I'll be back in a second. :)

@Broadband - It has nothing to do with help, and a lot to do with an added family member that got back early from another location, and seemed to forget that I was 22 and not 12. That's all. It upsets me (he tells me that since I'm not charging for the AP, it's pointless. If you can't make money from it, what's the use?). That's all. Now then, off to the store, be back soon. :D

Probably, if you released the unpatched (already uploaded version) on bittorrent, and then a patch (when available) the bittorrent storm can get moving, and then there will only be a small amont of traffic for the patch.

Then the consolidated Dec 5.01 patched version won't get hit as hard.

And the experienced users can get much of the D/L done before the newbies realize what happened(even if they ever notice)....

Or we can just wait...:) Whatever's easiest for you.

Oh, and BTW, THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS!

You've already saved me hours of downloading and burning.

I am back everyone. I had to go pick up a new computer, sorry about that. Will be nice to use the Dec release on it tonight :)

Anyways, I am still in the process of uploading the full version on the server. Once its complete, All is ready to fly on my end. I also already have the Emule Hash for both files (Yes the correct version) and they are in Flish's Hands, This will be 1 complete post by Flish with Many ways to get the file per your choice. Trust me, its not all in vain people, This will be a complete well spread release all you have to do is choose the method you want to get it. With that said, just hold tight, they will be up before you know it.

On a side note, any of you who use Emule, Overnet, Edonkey. Please keep this shared via release priority to help assist me spreading both files. Thanks in advance everyone. Flish and Raptor do appreciate everything they have worked hard on this and you will really love this update!!!

No, actually, I WOULD like to locate it, as I wouldnt mind serving a few files from time to time...BUT, I don't want to just turn it loose and take down my entire service.....I am on a 11mb wireless link to the office, but they only have 2 T1s.....see the problem?

@Flishfun - I totally agree with you. I have been running a small gaming network with some free online games since January 2000 and honestly I lose money on it and have no intentions for profit. I dunno sometimes it's just a good feeling to be giving something back to the community that has done the same for you. I dunno where I'd be without my opensource spamfilter :) And I'm 22 as well and I can tell you that it is tough to focus on something that isn't profitable especially when free time is less and less plentiful. I applaud you.

@Everyone - If your sick of waiting for the release why don't you play a free online game I host to keep you occupied until it's available! I'm sure you'll get a kick of it

Thanks man. And you know, I do ask for donations, cause I figure that it would be nice to have, but I don't rely on them, and everyone who donates (unless they request to be anon) is listed on the site. So they're recognized. I haven't done this alone, by far... and everyone who has helped signifacantly is thanked somewhere, either in the Readme, the website, or the exe itself. Just upsets me, the only reason I ever moved here is because I didn't think he would be here, but they sent him home. Oh well, whatcha gonna do? lol

@Shinryu - They're just excited, I don't mind. :)

hello, i did not know where to post this, but i'll post it here, what is this autopatcherxp? will it work on Windows 98 or windows me?? what's this december update that you are all waitng for ?

Well if you were to browse around the board a little or goto www.autopatcher.com you would find out what it is. Since it is called autopatcherxp it is for XP.

Well I stand corrected, I didnt know that you could modify it for XP. Thanx.

It's actually just for WinXP (soon for 2000 and 2k3)... though it's possible to make a 98 or ME version (proved in another thread). It contains all fixes and updates (along with some goodies) for Windows XP. The Dec Update is the newest release, and has even more fixes and items, along with better stability. :)

it's called Autopatcherxp (note: xp at the end of the name) it's for XP SP1, and it for Windows XP only, 98, and Windows ME is abit out dated...

and the december update is for all the features/updates that wern't included in the november(but still includes all other updates)

    • Gf needed a new Surface and was looking at a Surface Laptop because of the Snapdragon. Seeing as it was a two year old chip she just decided to get a Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 instead. Personally this Surface Ultra Cassis reminds me a bit of Razor. It would be interesting if it could handle proper gaming and be 17 inch.
    • No idea, frankly, I'm not into minimum requirements gaming, but it would be an interesting test to find out. Also, I just have to point out that it wasn't my intention to downplay the performance of DXVK on Linux or Linux gaming in general (despite my own experience being a bit of a mixed bag). I just thought it would be good to point out that DXVK is not Linux exclusive and that you can benefit from using it even in Windows.
    • Fastfetch 2.64 released bringing new logos and other improvements by David Uzondu Fastfetch, the popular command-line system information tool that developers created as a fast alternative to the classic Neofetch utility, has updated its codebase to version 2.64, bringing experimental scripting power, streamlined compilation options, a smarter logo renderer, and Codec module support. As noted earlier, Fastfetch can now detect hardware-accelerated video codecs across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android through this new Codec module. On Linux and BSD, the utility uses VA-API by default, with a fallback to VDPAU on Nvidia hardware if compiled with libva and libvdpau. Windows users get D3D12VA on Windows 11 or D3D11VA with Media Foundation Transforms on older systems, while macOS relies on VideoToolbox and Android utilizes AMediaCodec. You can manually toggle Vulkan Video via the config file, and the program will report both encoders and decoders unless configured otherwise. Logo support for Quasar, Origami, Origami_small, NixOS2, and BerserkArch also landed in this release. BerserkArch, if you have never heard of it, is a specialized Arch Linux derivative that targets security researchers and power users. This distro comes with an offensive security tool manager, simply called berserk, which allows users to install complex hacking toolkits with single terminal commands. Moving on, Fastfetch now has experimental scripting options for custom formats using Lua or QuickJS. The Lua integration supports versions 5.3 through 5.5, sharing a single interpreter instance across all modules so you can store variables globally. T Alternatively, if you prefer JavaScript, you can use QuickJS-ng version 0.15.0 or newer to evaluate your custom formats with the qjs: prefix. Other changes that version 2.64 brings include native CMake compilation flags to disable specific modules to shrink the final binary size. Users can delete unwanted ASCII logo files directly from the source directory before building to save additional space. The format engine now boasts ANSI-escape awareness, meaning you can center text with the new vertical bar specifier without breaking colored outputs. Haiku users receive preliminary support for boot manager, window manager theme, screen brightness, and other basic properties. Finally, the Linux edition now extracts desktop wallpaper and theme details from the modern COSMIC desktop environment.
    • That's a good number until the game you want to play is not in that list.
