Upload the current version, distribute the links with a warning about it

Then fix the bug, and upload it tomorrow sometime. I don't suppose there are many n00b's dying for AutoPatcher and hanging onto this thread until its released.

OK people, we found a slight problem. Nothing major mind you. The Autorun was incorrectly edited (FLISHFUN!!!) lol dont worry about it man, you have a big frigin plate so it was a simple over sight. Its a very simple fix, but the question is, do you guys want to do some simple editing yourself? Or should we fix it and reupload to the servers? I know all of you want this real bad but keep in mind, not everyone visits this site, that uses it, and 2 it should be complete. Its up to you guys. What do you think????

Yeah, my bad. If I re-upload, it'll take at least another 6 hours from now... if not, then it'll be up soon. And you'll only notice the bug if you burn this to a CD and try to use the AutoRun. The fix is very very simple, but who knows, thought we'd ask you. :)

I vote for release now also. I also agree with fix instuctions, or even a quick patch. I was also wondering will there be instructions for the update as there was for the Nov. update? Such as, do we add on top of the Nov. update or just over 4.0?

Yeah, but it's still best to just release a version that's all right. No worries, I have AgEnTsMiTh helpin' me upload so we should be able to still get this out today. :)

If i had the time to sit down and go threw a few installs of 2k server/advance/data centre i would but the time taken for each one is well a shed load.

ps keep up the good work this file has saved my bacon over the last four days with the amount of builds i been doing :)...also going to get used on my new build in a few days :D

      From all that I've read on the subject--not that much, really--it looks to me like companies and parents are trying to protect themselves from children using their parents accounts to run up giant bills, sometimes in the thousands of dollars, and the first the parents know about it is when they get sued... Internet companies have been sued for tailoring their ads to children, which is kind of old news. My belief is that policing starts at home with the parents, and the reason that so many laws that can't be enforced are being passed is because parents are eschewing their responsibilities, claiming not enough time, not enough knowledge, etc. Giving kids cell phones sans Internet connectivity is a good place to start--confine Internet activity to PCs in the home that the parents regulate. My kids are all grown and gone, I'm happy to say... They have their own kids to worry about.

      BTW DXVK is also available on Windows and offers similar benefits like on Linux when it comes to performance, at least in some titles. The Raceroom racing sim for example even offers DXVK as one of its officially supported options and it can achieve ridiculous improvements in certain situations, like quite literally doubling (or more) the framerates
