Facebook Update Problem

Ok, latest facebook update for android keeps sending me an notification every time I get a message. Notifications are turned off. Anyone else have this problem or know how to disable it. Annoying.

Oh strange I had this on Sunday too, didn't really think too much of it but today I've received messages on there and not got any notification.
