Abandoned Stars Wars sets in the desert

New York-based visual artist and filmmaker R? di Martino has taken a series of eerie and beautiful photos that capture scenes of abandoned Hollywood film sets. If I were to travel to Morocco or Tunisia it would be to see the indigenous relics and structures, not those from abandoned Hollywood movie sets. That said, the pictures are still impressive.

I'd think the movie companies would be required to clean sets up.

Just one of the benefits of shooting in Morocco and Tunisia.

It's always been funny to me that they shot in Africa. Sets would have looked exactly the same in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, etc., but they would have been picked up, either by the crew or fans.

I wonder what a piece of the set of Star Wars would go for on Ebay? Maybe worth a trip to Morocco.
