That's the point dude. They aren't going to go exclusive, so the bet is on Sony doing something similar to Microsoft. Otherwise EA would still have the online pass program active for PS4 games. They aren't just going to give up the revenue that that program has created - we know pretty well now that that isn't how they operate.

If they aren't going to go exclusive though, Sony can technically do whatever they want. The worst slap on the wrist EA can give is what they've done already to Sony, climb into bed with MS and give them exclusive DLC on their biggest franchise, FIFA.

The online pass system couldn't carry on working with this supposed new Xbox One system.

Neither Microsoft nor Sony has clearly said if you can play used games. All they have said is "you can play used games".

Well it could, it would just be overkill, but even so, they could axe it for Xbox One, but still leave it implemented for PS4. If they're not doing that, than I'd say Sony has similar plans, otherwise EA is needlessly losing out on revenue, and that's not how they work.
