How are you going to say/write all the different Xboxs?

Original Xbox

360

Xbox One.

That's how I refer to them.

Oh boy, they've made up rules for that, too. What next - they?e going to ban people from Live for using the wrong nomenclature? :D

This is clearly a brand guide. Every company has one and it's an important thing to have. We have one at Hailo. It's the difference between your company and partners making you look professional or not.

Was thinking about this myself, or rather, how the majority will end up abbreviating Xbox One, because people love to shorten stuff, especially with things like text messages, twitter, etc.

X.O

X.BO

X.B.O

Xbox.O

X.B.One

X.One

X.1

Dots are just to show pronunciation, so...

XO

XBO

XboxO

XBOne

XOne

X1

I'm thinking XBO

All branding comes with guidelines, it's not a MS exclusive.

Personally for me it'll be...

Original Xbox = i wont bother talking about, nothing left to say.

Xbox 360 = 360

Xbox One = Xbox (and then answer the inevitable questions of 'which one?' etc etc)

The truth is it'll take a while before it settles down in to having a user driven nickname.
