How are you going to say/write all the different Xboxs?

I want to know how people are going to call the different Xboxs in conversation and writing....

Just to be clear, the official names are (and year released/announcements)

Xbox (2001)

Xbox 360 (2005)

Xbox One (2013)

2. Xbox 360 or just 360

3. Xbox one or new Xbox or just Xbox.

I don't think that's so hard. People are just trying to make a mountain out of a mold hill.

This is clearly a brand guide. Every company has one and it's an important thing to have. We have one at Hailo. It's the difference between your company and partners making you look professional or not.

Was thinking about this myself, or rather, how the majority will end up abbreviating Xbox One, because people love to shorten stuff, especially with things like text messages, twitter, etc.

All branding comes with guidelines, it's not a MS exclusive.

Personally for me it'll be...

Original Xbox = i wont bother talking about, nothing left to say.

Xbox 360 = 360

Xbox One = Xbox (and then answer the inevitable questions of 'which one?' etc etc)

The truth is it'll take a while before it settles down in to having a user driven nickname.
