I cannot explain this film and do it any sort of justice. I feel like this movie was made for me. I connect so well to it and love how it engages the audiance to think. Even if this is not your type of movie I would highly recommend to give it a try. No joke I have watched this movie 9 times in the last 5 days. Every time I pickup on another subtle portion of it that opens my eyes to the bigger picture. This movie is beautiful to watch, amazing to listen to and an absolute triumph that 1 person, Shane Carruth, made this happen.

If you haven't seen his first movie Primer go watch it now. I need more Carruth movies.

Has anyone else seen Upstream? What did you think?

10/10

So I watched this film over the weekend and loved it. A word of warning, don't go into this expecting a purely entertaining film, but one that provokes thought and will make you ask questions about yourself and what is controlling you.

It was also a beautiful film. Honestly, there isn't a thing I didn't like about it. Will definitely be rewatching this again.
