I first got a NES, then a SNES that at one point I traded for a Genesis (bad move) only to trade it back for another SNES months later, then I got an N64 and PSX

A Sega Mega Drive in the early 90s.

It died on me after I left it turned on over night. In a TV cabinet. Whoops.

Then you missed out on some of the greatest games ever made.

Oh no, I don't believe so. ;)

Why do you care that it is a public poll? You're not electing a politician, just voting for a favourite console :p

Funnily enough, I'm more vocal about my choice of politician. :p

Commodore 16, Commodore 64, Sega MasterSystem, Sega MasterSystem II, Sega Megadrive, Gameboy, Sony Playstation, N64 (Goldeneye only) & PS2 - in that order within the house from 1990 to 1999.

Before cartridges, there were tapes and cards!

Throughout the 90's I upgraded through the Nintendo systems

NES - Received for Christmas in either '90 or '91

SNES - Received for birthday around '93 or '94

N64 - I bought in '97 after seeing Star Fox in the video game rental store.

Grandparents had a Sega Master system at there place when the family came over

They had two games Double Dragon

Back in the 90s I was busy getting born, but I did own one console in the early 2000s and that was the Nintendo 64. Never was much of a gamer (and still ain't one), but I did enjoy playing.

NES / MegaDrive / PSX / XBOX / XBOX 360 is the order of my consoles, but I ended up grabbing a Master System, SNES and PS2 in recent years :)
