This is an awesome console exclusive. I see they are going to let you do pre-orders and pre-downloads on Xbox Live now too for this game. WOOOOT!

Not anymore they say it was an error.

 

 

 

Update: Microsoft says Titanfall's pre-load option was posted in error and it doesn't plan to allow Xbox One owners to download the game in advance of launch.

Yup, I read that. Funny thing is, everyone is saying it's the oddest error they could make. You can't just make that stuff up and post it. There must have been some intent.

You can pre-order the Xbox One release at Tesco for ?37 with the code TDX-HQ9T. This is the cheapest I've found it online for.

 

Works for first orders only, so just sign up again if you already have an account.

 

I've had problems with pre-ordering from Tesco and didn't receive my game on time. Bear that in mind before ordering. If you're wanting it for release day try somewhere else.

That blows. Never had any problems myself in the past. I don't mind waiting an extra day or so anyway.

 

It was GTA5, and that was around 6 months ago. They have may have changed. I've just steered away from them.

 Leviathans have been confirmed as the big creatures, but they do not enter the battlefield they are just background. One of the maps takes place around the bones of one of the those creatures. that map is said to have smaller flying creatures that will pester players. There was an article on Neogaf about this, I'll link it after work.

That could explain the texture quality.

Nah. It's pretty much a multiplayer only game. There are a few cutscenes added to the game for the psuedo campaign, but the entire game takes place on the those multiplayer maps. It's just minimal in content.

Well it is 40GB on PC...22GB compressed download IIRC?

      As long as Manifest v2 extensions keep working. I always enable compact mode from about:config. I hope I won't have to switch to LibreWolf or WaterFox anytime soon.

      Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
