So did anyone actually watch this? Broadchurch, I think, is way better. Gracepoint didn't feel as organic. It tried being Broadchurch way too much. I suppose I wanted something that was a bit more original in story with the same overall story arcs. Expectations shouldn't have been so high.

Frankly, the only reason I'm sticking with it is because of Davis Tennant.

I'm thinking of just skipping this because I've seen the original BUT then a friend told me that they're going to change the ending and other things, so now I'm a bit more interested in it.   It's only 10eps so I'll just wait for it to all air and then watch it in one go.

I watched it. Wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. It just felt weird see David playing the same character but with an american accent.

 

I have seen contradicting reports on if it is the same exact story or different (i.e. different killer), anyone know? If it is the same killer then there is no real point in me watching it.

 

Broadchurch's pilot was much better IMHO.
