Just installed. Got DataSense! Smart Camera isn't as nice as I thought it'd be.

I haven't noticed any performance issues after updating my 8X to GDR2, if anything apps resume and open faster for me compared to GDR1.

the 925 and 1020 did the 928 was a Verizon Exclusive.

Both those features suck a lot of battery especially double tap to wake. 

 

Well my battery life's no worse than it was pre-GDR2 so I guess the net effect is that I'm better off :laugh:

GDR2 update has been a mixed experience for me.

 

My own Cyan 920 updated just fine.

 

My wife's red 920 is effectively "bricked" (no sound, battery doesn't hold charge). I just realized that our firmware versions are wildly different. That is probably one of the reasons. Going to try Neobond's trick next before I go to AT&T service center.
