reinstall DirectX

Hello everyone!

 

how can I reinstall or uninstall directX for Windows Vista?

 

Because my game called Everquest 2 keep crash due to Direct X.

Are you sure that it's DirectX? I would suggest running DxDiag first to see if it finds anything wrong.

Are you sure that it's DirectX? I would suggest running DxDiag first to see if it finds anything wrong.

1. Run the redist install:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

2. Then run the web installer to make sure you're on latest:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

3. Try again

 

PS

It may also be a driver issue - are you on latest drivers for your graphics card?

ok thanks for your help :) yes I am on latest driver for graphics card.
