I dont have GTA 5, Im waiting for the PC version, but what are crews about? Is it like a clan? What pluses does it have?

I dont want to search for it in case of some spoilers....

Pretty much like clans.  The online portion will try to match you into lobbies with other members.  You also get an XP bonus by completing missions with crew members, and you cam give permissions to ride in your car or enter your apartment.
