Recommend a good war themed "Saving Private Ryan" type Blu-Ray for gift?

I want to give a present to someone in form of a Blu-Ray. The person likes war themed movies and the first Blu-Ray I gave him was top movie which was "Saving Private Ryan".

Any film similar to that to buy?

I was going to suggest Pearl Harbour, but it's nothing compared to Saving Private Ryan or Band Of Brothers

Band of Brothers is a TV series, not a film. But it is completely worth the price, I don't think I've ever met anyone to not be moved by it.

I'm thinking something like Black Hawk Down, although that is the 90's not WW2. There's also The Thin Red Line, set in the Vietnam war.

Give me a moment to think of some WW2 films I've enjoyed.

Believe me as a present the Band of Brothers set will provide much more entertainment than a 2hr movie.  I found my box set for the price of a Blu-Ray.
