DrJohnSmitherson Share Posted December 24, 2013 Hey guys, I play on the server uberminecraft.com and and every few seconds I get a lag for like a second. It's a network lag, not a fps lag. From the cmd I ran ping to the server it and returned 123ms. Pinging to my site was 52ms and to google was 32ms. I went to speedtest.net and the test was normal with 22ms. Is it that server? Is it me? Win8.1 i7 3770 16GB ram Wireless N connection Comcast ~30mb download
0 Top Qat Solution Share Posted December 24, 2013 My guess is that uberminecraft.com is being overloaded (CPU wise or TICK wise http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tick ) Had similar issues with a Minecraft server I run for my son and a few friends. They were doing stupidly HUGE things and the server TICKs were taking a long time to complete (CPU was fine).
