The problem is that some people react viscerally to the "G-Word" even when it's used metaphorically. IMO they need to take some Zanax, or a bottle of Jack, and chill out.

In this case it is obvious click-bait. They give it this silly name but in the article point out it isn't "god's hand" but the simple result of pareidolia.

The problem with the media designating names for things in the scientific realm is that the general public becomes confused or mislead. "The missing link" is a perfectly example of that.

Science is for commies, homos, and atheists. EXCEPT WHEN THEY NAME SOMETHING WITH THE WORD GOD IN IT!

As for the article, did NASA designate this the "Hand of God" or FoxNews' editorial department.

With the Higgs-Boson, it was the moronic media who named it the "god particle".  Scientists had never referred to it that way until after that time, and then only in off the cuff discussions.

Some of the responses in this thread boggle the mind.  It's a giant hand in space, can you think of a more appropriate name?  Call it hand of Zeus or something if you just can't get past the whole "g-word".  Anyway, I see a reaching hand with the last two fingers out of sight.

Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained.
