i'm not trying to be a dick or anything but every month it amazes me how many truly fugly desktops get posted here. it seems to me that a site that has multiple forums dedicated to customizing every platform of personal computers would have more coherent desktops that have a unified look. on a separate note, i don't see how you could have some naked/half-naked girl on your desktop in a lewd pose 24/7... that would just creep me out.

I agree, but to each his own. There are tasteful wallpapers with women, then there are some not so tasteful. Most desktops here are nice but some people just don't get it I don't think. But like I said, to each his own. If you like looking at missmatching colors and icons scattered all over your desktop well good for you, lol. But personally thats not what I go for...

And there is a unified look...it's called gant/reluna...lol

What's the point ? You can still post your superb desktop, and still people will say it could be ugly .. that's called TASTE! Yes some are ugly, everyone has it's own criteria. I don't expect everyone to like my desktop for exemple, i can live with that.
