Hello everybody,
Just wanted to share something fun I have been messing around with lately. I usually game on the go or during short breaks, and I’ve been looking for offline games that are easy to pick up and don’t drain battery like crazy.
Came across this collection of mini-games that you can play solo or with friends on the same device — surprisingly fun for something so simple. It’s been a great time killer, especially in places with bad signal.
Here's the version I tried out: 👉 This offline mini-game set
It’s got a mix of quick reflex and puzzle-style games, nothing fancy, but perfect for light gaming sessions. Just thought I’d drop this here in case anyone else is looking for similar games.
If you know other decent offline mobile games that are multiplayer-friendly, feel free to share!
Why? Many companies have rules about leaking. Even people in retail have rules about leaks. If this guy left his work device with alpha or beta code on it lying around AND allowed the devices pin code to be gotten out of his head he needs another job then working for a software company. Only a judge or his employer (because it's their loaned hardware) can compel him to reveal that pin code.
Intel is shutting down Clear Linux OS by Usama Jawad

Clear Linux OS was a Linux distribution maintained by Intel itself. It wasn't a general-purpose operating system, and was instead meant for more specialized activities like cloud computing, distributed computing, and DevOps. But perhaps the main selling point of this distro was that it was optimized for Intel's hardware - these improvements extended to AMD too. Despite it being fairly popular within its niche community, Intel has decided to axe the project.
In a forum thread, the Clear Linux OS team has announced that effective immediately, Intel is ending support for the project. What this means is that no security updates or patches will be provided for the OS. In addition, the project's GitHub repository will soon be archived in a read-only mode. Intel has urged users of Clear Linux OS to migrate to any other Linux distro that is being actively maintained.
No reason for abandonment has been highlighted, but it is likely that this decision is backed by cost-cutting measures. Intel recently announced layoffs impacting 5,000 employees, while also making a rather somber comment that it is too far behind in the AI race to catch up now. It's possible that the Clear Linux OS project was axed to improve the company's financial posture, but it is unknown if the team behind the initiative is impacted too.
Intel has emphasized that despite this closure, it remains fully committed to the Linux ecosystem, and will continue supporting open-source projects and distros maintained by others. Its efforts will revolve in the same area of improving the performance of Linux software on Intel hardware.
Responses to the thread have been very sympathetic and supportive, with many expressing gratitude to the Clear Linux OS team for supporting the project for over a decade. It remains to be seen which Linux distro Clear Linux OS customers will gravitate to next.
