I think it looks really good...not as good as T2 but still pretty good. I think you guys are over stepping it from a story stand point when you have to remember they are bouncing around in time travel so something is bound to change or alter.

My problem is that it seems like a really cheap way to play on your nostalgia. I mean, Arnold even says he'll be back. That's the definition of cheap, because it followed probably 20 other scenes which were direct references to the first two movies. If you're rebooting it, might offer something new. But this is just a trailer, could be they're doing exactly that just to get people hyped for it and that's why the trailer is chock-full of repeated imagery and lines, and the movie might actually offer something new.

I'm going to assume everyone who is giving negative feedback is most likely still going to see the movie sometime in their life.

Yeah... and?

hopefully this will be the last one, if not someone needs to do a Format c: /u - a low level format, or pull the plug and make sure it has no UPS, cus seriously this ###### is getting old, trailer makes it look watch able, but I doubt I would drop the sort of cash that is required at a cinema now a days

Have to say it didn't look bad!

It concerns me that they've gone to a lot of effort to stomp all over a lot of the same territory that the old (good) films already covered. The fact that everyone has been recast also irks me. It looks like a Terminator film crossed with a teen coming-of-age movie. Hopefully I'll be wrong, but I'm worried now. Arnold should have stayed out of this one :/.

Graphically though it looked very impressive.

Yeah... and?

It's just annoying seeing all these negative comments from people even though their still going to see the movie.

Maybe it's just me, but if I say a movie looks bad, I don't even see it unless I'm told otherwise. For example, I refused to watch Dracula Untold until someone told me it was a badass movie which I agreed after I seen it. Then again, Predestination looked stupid and I was told it was good. So I watched it, now I want my time back.

    • No Steam release. It's gonna fail on PC. Even an Epic Online engineer said that people go there for the free stuff and then immediately go back to Steam.
    • Nice. Admittedly, his other games never interested me, but this seems pretty cool.
    • It's time to say goodbye to Edge and switch back to Firefox. There's no way to disable the ugly rounded corners that appear everywhere. Not even on the page frame. No one uses screens with rounded corners, you idiots.
    • Being on Github makes it more trustable since I can see the code at any point.
    • Gen Atlas is the next game from Shadow of the Colossus creator, this time with giant robots by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The mind behind widely well-received games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, showed up at Summer Game Fest today, and that was to reveal his latest project. Being developed by genDESIGN, Gen Atlas is incoming with what looks to be plenty of mech and robot action. Watch the reveal trailer, which makes not much sense, above. The game will have players waking up on an abandoned planet where deserted facilities and grand designs from the original creators remain. Soon, they will stumble upon a colossal robot, from which players gain access to the power to change the world. "Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more," adds the studio. The gameplay snippets seen in the trailer show the player character climbing giant robots (as expected from the creator), while also controlling these titans somehow as well. This is a fully single-player open-world adventure. “The team and I are grateful to all the fans who’ve been eager to learn more about our game,” says Fumito Ueda, CEO and creative director of genDESIGN. “Their passion and enthusiasm has always motivated and inspired us. We hope to share an experience that inspires moments of quiet wonder and discovery.” Before gaining the name Gen Atlas, Ueda first announced this project back in 2024 with the codename Project Robot. Interestingly, this will be a project being funded and published by Epic Games, which should mean that a Steam release is out of the question. Gen Atlas will be releasing on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced just yet.
