Is it just me or is Xbox.com still very 360 focused? If I go to recently played games it shows the last games I played on my 360 and not the One, If I got to purchase BF4 Premium it says download to xbox 360, whilst I am sure it will work, I am just not trusting that.

Has anyone else noticed this and figured out a way around it?

Whenever I sign into Xbox it still shows my old 360 Avatar. If I try and edit my profile its still showing profile options for the 360 etc. It doesn't list any Xbox One games I've played, (says I was last online in GTA 5 months ago) Doesn't list any of my Xbox One Achievements.

This is off the top of my head, the site is blocked at work, but I remember seeing something in the top left saying click here for Xbox One stuff. I think I remember it prompting you to use Smartglass.

but I could be horribly wrong.

Edit just checked and there is a link but it tells you to download SmartGlass

Microsoft is aware of this, and said they will add Xbox One content in the future. They said they want you to use the Smartglass features for now on your portable devices until Xbox One details are implemented on Xbox.com.

Sad, pathetic, but true. Coming from the largest software company in the world, you would think they could have Xbox One stats online.

I would be happy to do that if smartglass worked without the Xbox. So I just attempted to buy something in there and it complained that it couldn't find any xboxes.

Part of the brilliance of Xbox.com was auto queuing stuff from a website so it would potentially be downloaded by the time you got home. Another feature the 360 has that the "next generation" does not I guess.

The PS4 has the auto-queuing feature, you select a game you want via the Sony store from any browser (anywhere in the world) and it downloads it to your PS4 ready for you to install when you get back home. You can do it via the PS App for smart phones and tablets also.

I didn't even know the Xbox One couldn't do that, nor that it doesn't track Xbox One stats on the xbox.com site. Guess its missing some features too.

Yeah, they really need to work on the website to integrate both experiences.

I just wont believe that they intend to leave it like this. At some point, they will pull all of the same funcuntality for the 360 from the One for use on the website. At least you can purchase X1 games via the xbox website.

As for the smartglass app, I think the app is very well done and its great that it will work with any tablet or smartphone OS out there, so everyone can use it. They just need to add more features and allow it to work without connecting to an xbox. You can use the app partially when your not connected, but some functions require it.

The "Games" app on Windows 8 doesn't show my Xbox One activity or achievements either.

Yeah, it looks like MS built two locations for data:

One for everything related to the 360, which is what populates the Win 8 app, and the website. Then another which populates the smartlgass app. I can't imagine they leave it like that though.

Now they have something to work on for the April update!

Actually the one thing cool about Xbox One is that it downloads when off. You can buy games from Xbox.com and they will download to your Xbox while you are away. The only way to do that on the 360 was to leave it on while you were gone

oh ok, so you can still use the auto queue on the website to buy a game and then it will download to your console while your away?

If that is true, then it works like the ps4 does, as GotBored pointed out.

Yes you can download games while you are away from Xbox one. You will need to turn Xbox 360 in order to download games.

Apparently that was incorrect. You can queue up games for download to the X1 from the website. Persoanlly, I havent tried to use the feature on either console, so I was unfamiliar with it. I rarely used it on the 360.

Xbox.com shows 360 stuff..

You can use smartglass for Xbox One stuff.

Like I said, unless the Xbox is  connected on the same network this doesn't work. I have fired up Smartglass from my phone and from my PC and it tells me it can't find the xbox.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/Battlefield-4-Premium/58f1fa12-bf62-44e6-b7fc-44ebc40cd79b < this shows Xbox 360, whilst it "Might" work, for ?40 I wasn't taking any chances. You may be able to buy most things available but this is one example where you can't. It may be available somewhere on the website but searching it did not come up quickly.

As others have pointed out, my recent activity shows games I played 4 months ago on my 360, I see no easy way to look at my achievements. I just think this is pretty poor, the team behind xbox.com could have been working on this a year ago, this isn't an unexpected release.

I'm getting pretty fed up with developers at the moment half doing a product and just asking people to accept the bugs and missing features and content and expecting to just "add" it in at a later date and in the case of a lot of games, as a paid option. Stop giving us half products and finish it first time around.

I've been a pretty big fan of the xbox since the 360 and have defended it when it shouldn't have been defended for far too long.

I've noticed this from day one sadly, you have no way to see any achievements or anything to do with the Xbox One on anything other than the console it's self, or on Smart Glass. What annoys me about Smart Glass is i appear to be logged out of it every week or so. As i use two factor authentication its a pain to log in every time i want to use it too... especially on my phone as that's where my authenticator app is.

Same here, I was very big on the Xbox 360 and thought Microsoft had always been on the ball innovating over the last 8 years, however the Xbox One has been a disappointment from day one. Lots of little things end up making one very unpolished / half done experience.

You are mistaken, I have just tried this from my phone and windows 8.1 machine and it shows everything except the console centric stuff like remote which obviously needs to be connected to the console.

As you can see from these screen caps the app is not connected to the Xbox One, I don't even have an XBox One in the house.

As far as the Premium DLC pack for Battlefield on Xbox One, I don't see it listed in the Xbox One section at Xbox.com either. I bought it for my Xbox 360 when I had the Battlefield 4 for the Xbox 360. But I did the trade in program, and DICE upgrades your Premium to Xbox One as well, at no charge.

Agreed, it sucks that we can only view all of our Xbox One info on the console and in smartglass. Now we just need the Xbox.com stats to show up. Luckily we have 2 out of the 3 right now.

Sorry, I probably didn't explain clear enough. The app works, yes. If you try to buy something from the store, it then prompts with an error message that it can't connect. So as someone (apoligies I can't remember who) was saying that MS are pushing you to use Smartglass instead, it's fine for some things but purchasing doesn't seem to work.

Yes, there was a little confusion on that point. And you are correct about purchasing, it does need to be connected to the console. Hopefully that will change so purchasing titles works like the website.

I'm in a bad mood and being literate is not something my brain seems to care about right now
