This is amazing. It is free for this weekend only (1-4th March) but even if that's the case, the full game is yours for the life of your PS Plus subscription. 

Get it while its hot if you don't have it already :)

I can see them offering the MP free for the life of Plus eventually, like what they did with Killzone 3. However, this looks to just be a weekend deal right now (as in it will have a timebomb for only allowing free access for the weekend).

 

edit: Specifically states 8 days on the store.

Yup it's just an open weekend.

#Deploy as many times as you like throughout the event and carry over all of your progress if you upgrade to the full game.

hang on, is this free multi only or single player too?

Single player AND Multiplayer. 

Thats why im saying its awesome and go grab it :p

When you click download it gives you the option which you want to download first; single player or multi player.

Not bad, SP can obviously easily be finished in 8 days.

This is the third free KZ4 weekend in EU since launch. It is multiplayer only (but you must download the SP too - which can't be played without purchase) and in EU is ONLY available for PS+ members. This edition has in-game locks so that it can't played outside of these events without purchase. Finally, the savegame is not compatible with disc versions of KZ4...

If SP can't be played the save game wouldn't matter would it? Aren't your characters stored on Sony's servers?

 

Either way, sucks about SP.

Not available at all here in the USofA.....

I was dissappointed to not see it when I went on earlier to try and download it. So is this confirmed as only for the EU?

Now that I hear its MP only, I'm not as excited. I was more interested in at least a demo of the SP.

Either way, sucks about SP.

My point was just that it makes a new savegame that doesn't affect the disc copy - it only wastes cloud space if you allow it to upload automatically.

Anyway, looks like they removed the PS+ requirement for this event (on webstore, at least) - guess the store team were being overly cautious... lol

I was more interested in at least a demo of the SP.

Numerous in-store demos are available that haven't yet made it online.
