only things i thought looked dumb in the teaser;

football droid

the sword

the speeder that looked like a flying box

To be fair you can't expect everything to look the same, the sword or light saber was a unique addition and to be honest something that should have prob been there to start with if modeled around the knights use of a sword. The "flying box" speeder was no more funny looking than the original one that Luke used in VI that looked like a flying raft but worked out just fine.

guess so, suppose a lot can still change between now and wrap up. at least the teaser wasn't full of lens flares :)

Guys! I think I may have just discovered and Solved a clue to some of the characters' relationships in Star Wars the force awakens in  two of the cards! Look at Finn's card number and Look at Rey's. they are about one to two cards apart in order! What does this mean? They're most likely two of the main characters as the 75th card is left a secret.

We already know Finn is one of the main characters, so that's not a huge revelation, as for the girl, it was obvius she's pretty major as well seeing as she appears alone in such a scene.

All I ask is that Luke shows up and pulls off some Yoda level Jedi ass kicking.  Please let's not repeat what happened to Obi, I know history likes to repeat itself and all that but if I see Luke lose his head in the same fashion I won't be happy.

I also checked out a piece of Speculative art on DeviantArt by shadowwithouttheow that Depicted BB-8 as Rey's Astromech Partner. Any proof this could be true? Also, she was depicted as examining a lightsaber with BB-8, any proof that'll be part of a scene in the movie?

I thought this was a joke at first. When the black guy popped up at the beginning of the trailer, it seemed comical with the music. I thought it was going to be a trailer for a Space Balls sequel.

Now that is something that Hollywood should do! You hearing it, Hollywood? Are you??

    • Along with that and very unfortunate for Linux, the AI boom/tariffs/global supply chain instability really destroyed any chances of it getting a decent chunk of market share. By all accounts, if a Steam Deck was still available for $399 (with tons of alternatives releasing at $500-$800 - instead of $1500+ now) and the Steam Machine was out there for $499, I think a lot of people WOULD have been willing to try SteamOS and switch away from Windows. But yeah, with the crazy jacked up prices now, people have to make safe bets with their money.
    • Neowin hasn't been covering the Ladybird browser but it has been posted about on a lot of tech and Linux/open source sites. I have been following the effort myself for almost a year now. Cloudflare and Proton are among their sponsors. You can read the why here--> https://ladybird.org/#about
    • That's really the user's problem, not the developers. It's not like the Windows 10 EOL was a surprise. Once a product goes out of support, you have to understand YOU are owning the risk of running it - the rest of the world will move on, maybe you'll be OK, maybe you'll be OK for a while, maybe you'll have an issue.... But you can't expect devs to write or certify software for dead operating systems.
    • Not mentioned in this blog post is that Linux has now dropped for 2 months in a row. At a hight of 5.33% in March, then 4.52% in April and now 3.99% in May. I suspect the end of Windows 10 got a bunch of people to try Linux, fueled by all the Microsoft hate, and rabid social media push of that....and now they are going back to Windows 11 because of the normal Linux issues. The vast majority of PC gamers want to use their computers to game and not trouble shoot why a game wont work, or half work.
