+Warwagon MVC Posted March 24, 2014 Author MVC Share Posted March 24, 2014 I still wish they would show you what they detect as they detect it like "Superantispyware" does. Guest
Thanks for the info. By the way, installing this overwrites the 1.x version. Personally, I can't say I like the UI. It does not fit with the Windows UX at all, and it looks like a busy mess. LittleNeutrino Veteran Posted March 24, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 24, 2014 I just had to manually download and install the update, the client told me there was an update and provided a link but didnt update itself like they did in the past very strange. +ir0nw0lf Subscriber² Posted March 24, 2014 Subscriber² Share Posted March 24, 2014 New UI isn't too bad, only installed it on two boxes. One was free version on existing v1.x install, it just overinstalled on top of it, no having to uninstall the 1.x crap. Second was on top of a Pro v1.x install. No issue installing at all. Still learning where all the options moved around in the UI. ViperAFK
The new UI reminds me of one of those rogue antivirus programs xD but anyway its a very nice update overall, malwarebytes has consistently been the best free antimalware program out there. It`s because for at least the time being they are still running and updating the VDB for 1.75. Maybe something to do with Techbench not working with 2 yet. Noticed the GUI doesn`t show from the taskbar when open when dropped down :( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1206335-malwarebytes-20-final-released/#findComment-596329379 Share on other sites
