How do I get that 'wet, glossy, reflective' shiny.

Is this look possible via Fireworks or Photoshop without a plugin? (Specifically the "glossy-red" and "glossy-yellow"

also..check this out- how do i achieve that photo-realistic lcd w/reflection?

Am I in way over my head with this stuff? tks guys :D

you can use the normail photoshop to do anyof those without plugins, but requires various layers and maybe masks... plugins just make it easir. but if u knew how to use photoshop fully.... its more powerful than using a plugin

play around with curves, it is an extremely powerful tool, along with contours. but theres other things to take into account with these tools
