A true Neowinian should be rewarded, because without that Neowinian a site like this loses value.

We're very proud to say that we still have a lot of active posters that have been here for a decade or more, and with a ton of posts, some much more than me!

So from today I am adding an incentive to stay actively posting at Neowin, by gifting a Tier 2 adfree sub for a year. Neowin T-shirt of your choosing from here: http://neowin.threadsquad.com/ when you reach 25,000 posts.

Not only is it an impressive milestone in itself, but we also want to give thanks where it's due to posters who keep Neowin fresh and active with their content.

The only conditions that apply are that you do not get yourself into trouble with our moderators for needless spamming to reach that milestone.

Posters who have already passed 25,000 posts can contact me on PM with a shirt of their choosing from here: http://neowin.threadsquad.com/

I will need your shipping address, but that address will be for shipping purposes only, nothing else.

Added the option to claim a Tier 2 adfree sub for a year (value $28 USD) and staff members are not excluded from this deal.

Cool idea. Although the rate i post at (even though i visit daily). I'll be login gone from this world. Perhaps my gravestone can have my post count and how far off i was from 25k.

Perhaps NW admin can write a little script to work out the date for when you will hit 25k based off of your daily post rate.

I am way behind and it will take century with my pace to reach. LOL!

I raise your spam image with:

Slightly offtopic question but does the third image of neowin of new design is from IP Social Suite 4, which is because it has circular avatar look as from IP Social Suite 4 blogpost on IP.Board forum. So you are in beta or might be alpha program?

I've ages to go, and it's not as if I have a life. I should be upto a million posts. I can't be arsed to post in most of the topics because I know that I will be trolled or shouted down because my opinion counts for nought as it's different to the majority of regular posters and their groupies.

Must start posting more, need a T-Shirt, do they do them in faticus bastardicus sizes?

I came in here to say that's an awesome idea but ^^ 116K posts wtf, weren't you at like 50K last year?  There's entire forums on the internet with thousands of members that have less posts than your cumulative total. wow alright back on track tip of the hat to the 25K posts idea anyway very generous give back to the members.

On to the next great idea though how about a commemorative avatar badge for 10+ years ;)

    • 2TB WD_Black SN7100 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD drops to its lowest price in over three months by Fiza Ali Amazon is currently offering the 2TB WD_Black SN7100 internal solid-state drive at its lowest price in over three months, so you may want to check it out, if you have been considering a storage upgrade, before the deal dries up (purchase link is toward the end of the article). Featuring a PCIe Gen 4.0 interface and M.2 2280 form factor, the SN7100 promises to deliver sequential read speeds of up to 7,250MB/s and sequential write speeds reaching 6,900MB/s, offering as much as a 35% improvement in performance compared with the previous generation. It also achieves random read speeds of 1,000,000 IOPS and random write speeds of 1,400,000 IOPS. The drive uses Western Digital’s TLC 3D NAND technology for reliable performance and is further supported by a five-year limited warranty. It also offers strong endurance, rated at up to 1,200TBW, making it suitable for demanding workloads such as gaming, content creation, and high-speed recording. Moreover, its DRAM-less architecture claims to improve power efficiency (the SSD relies on system memory for caching via HMB), while the WD_Black Dashboard software enables users to monitor drive health, install firmware updates, and activate Game Mode for potentially better performance. Finally, it operates within an operating temperature range of 0°C to 85°C, and can withstand storage temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. 2TB WD_Black SN7100 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD: $242.96 (Amazon US) Check this deal out if you want a 4TB option. • Hopefully this will fix the issue of no sound I have since last months stupid, and non-removable, Microsoft Corporation AudioProcessingObject Driver Update (1.0.3.56670)
    • It IS confusing! What channel are you in on each device? I'm guessing your 16GB device is on Experimental (formerly known as Dev) and your 128GB is on Beta.
    • 100 for the base game , 120 for pre release with bonus unlocked content (a pair of boil washed underpants for Trevor)
