WP 8.1 Reportedly Rolling out on Vodafone Australia this month.

According to a local Windows Phone blogger, those who reside in Australia won't have long to wait for Windows Phone 8.1. In fact, should everything be accurate, Vodafone AU is set to roll out the update later this month with the Nokia Lumia 630 available from this week.

 

It's worth noting that we expect the Windows Phone 8.1 roll out to start soon enough.

 

We should caution that the 'source' of this information is not official nor is his track record known with such reports. Dates and availability of the official 8.1 update are subject to change, and this should be treated merely as a rumor at this point. Having said that, we've been stating for a few months now that mid to late June was the release frame for the Windows Phone 8.1 roll out for some carriers, so this should not be too surprising.

Personally I expect it to start going out in June and be fully rolled out to markets by end of August but maybe I'm just overly optimistic.
