Does his suit in some way help him against Superman whom is 1000x stronger in some form? I guess I just don't understand how its possible he can even contend.

the power suit gives him strength to stand ground with superman, but if you read the comics or know batman he is one step ahead of everyone at all times. He has a plan in place for superman and outsmarts him, plus superman can never kill batman and batman knows this

Batman has the ultimate armor, the plot armor.

 

There are a few gimmicks Batman uses to sort of even things out, mostly kryptonite, and in their ultimate showdown (in The Dark Knight Returns), it's more due to Superman being weakened by a nuclear explosion anyway, but you should just accept that it's silly and that it's more a clash of ideologies than a clash of muscles. Everyone's aware Superman can just blast him with his eyes pretty much, but you just sort of accept that Batman's wits kind of help him where his fists can't, and it's no more sillier than a man in a bat suit fighting an alien superhuman in the first place.

Everyone expects kryptonite to enter into the movies at some point, if it's not in this one then the next MoS probably.

yeah, you can't have bats vs. sups and not have krrrrrrrrrrrryptonite (a la lex luthor in superman returns :p )

No. Batman has to lose first, then he comes up with a plan. Thats how it works.

Wow, that looks so much better... What Zack Snyder is thinking, I haven't a clue.

 

Personally that is too colourful for me but I do agree that the man of steel dull grey filter was way too over done.

Like JJ with his lens flare, Snyder has his own style when it comes to color pallet.   We'll just have to wait and see how the new one looks.

Yeah that video is over the top. Something in between would be ideal.

 

There's a fantastic rebuttal video where they show that in the "What if it had been in colour" video deliberately over-dulled what they present as the "dull original" to make a point, and that many of their arguments are utter nonsense.
