Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Yeah, those were shot on the 'Suicide Squad' set and aren't for 'Batman v Superman' :)

So then we're going to get a batman cameo in the Suicide Squad movie, unless all they do is show the batmobile chase scene they just filmed.

lol yeah see this is how I really view this movie...I mean there is no way Batman can contend if you think realistic even in sifi terms.

Yeah, we get it - you don't read comics and have no understanding of the dynamic.

No one knows for sure at this point though I'm sure we'll see him.

It'd be interesting if they borrowed from the animated suicide squad movie for story ideas, that had batman showing up at different parts.

As it turns out, he'll be showing up on the roof of Joker's car ;)

Does his suit in some way help him against Superman whom is 1000x stronger in some form? I guess I just don't understand how its possible he can even contend.

People seem to not realize in the DC world batman is super rich, the best detective, and the greatest all out fighter in the DC universe. Also all he has to do is have a piece of kyptonite on him and its over.

Batman? Outfit covers the entire body. Superman? Outfit covers the entire body? Wonder Woman? Barely covers anything. Sexism is alive and kicking.

Are you joking? Most women in the temperate portions of the world expose more skin area than that almost year around. Hell, in summer short shorts and a crop (or bikini) top are almost a friggin' uniform among teens and twenty-somethings.

Are you really comparing summer attire to superhero costumes? Even if you are, men often go around topless in summer and it doesn't account for the disparity.

What we're talking about here is men being depicted as strong and women being depicted as sexual objects. These are tired gender stereotypes. It's the same with Suicide Squad, with the men dressed in thick, bulky clothing and the women with bare skin and tight clothing. Hard to believe it's the 21st century.

I've been around America (North, Central and South) and  "macho" mentality is here to say, sadly. That said, imagine wonder women was in spandex ala catoman, people would always find a way to complain. eg "why is she wearing spandex and batman leather" etc...

Have you been hiding under a rock for 45 years? WW's been a women's liberation icon/hero since the 1970's, and when her costume has changed to (usually cover more) they're usually the loudest protestors. Out of touch much?

Harley Quinn is dressed in short shorts, with leg covering hose, but still common and her top is no smaller than what we see every day in a northern climate (Michigan, Canada etc.) much less places further South or in the West, and in New York City and several other locales its legal for women to go topless - which they do. As we speak women are lobbying the Venice Beach, Cal. govt for the right to go nude on the beach.

Grow up.

That might have been deemed progressive back in the 70s but it doesn't wash today.

You're missing the point, which is that it is sexualised in comparison to the male characters. The men wear armour and bulky clothes - the women wear skimpy clothes. This is a classic example of how women are objectified for commercial gain.

In real life men wear more than women do, duh. Goes back to men being the traditional warriors and wearing body protection. Further, stats show the closer women are to ovulation the more skin they expose or the redder the colors are they wear - again not news. In WW's case the libbers uniform preference still holds. They see her as empowering.

And again, the WW costume mainly exposes her arms and mid-thighs, with boots covering the rest of her legs. Women expose far more skin area in their daily clothes.

People should take context into account, let's not try to make this out to be sexist when it's not.  WW background, an amazon/greek warrior dictates the type of outfit she uses.  All you have to do is look at other films like 300 etc to get the picture, and for that matter I don't see anyone looking at that movie, with all the scantly clad guys and screaming it's sexist, what's with the double standard here?

Her outfit doesn't show much, the original one from the old TV series showed more, this one is basically an armored skirt with knee high armored boots, you see a bit of leg, not much, and her arms and shoulders are out, nothing big, there isn't even any cleavage.   At the most you could probably make the skirt a bit longer but nothing else needs to change.  Long story short, it fits her character and the history of her character the way it is designed.
