The match will be held at the Estadio Mineirao, Belo Horizonte. Kick-off is at 13:00 local time. (For the kick-off time in your time zone click here.)

Referee: Howard Webb (England)

My guess: Brazil 2 - 1 Chile

Well, Brazil is the 1st team qualified. A LOT of suspense in this match, however they sucked big time. Brazil has players, but today they were just lucky.

Also, I don't want to sound biased, but Chile has THE biggest actors at this WC so far. Our commentators said at one time that there are snipers in the crowd (joking, of course), that's why Chile's players fall like that. That guy (can't remember his name) that faked the foul by Daniel Alves was PATHETIC. He simply threw himself in the opponent and fell like he was struck by lightning.

Anyway, I really didn't like this game. Hopefully Columbia & Uruguay will provide a better spectacle. :)

As soon as it became clear that they were playing for the extra time, it started to dull. When it was clear that neither team had enough "legs" to score then, it was just a matter of waiting until the penalty lottery.

I cant stand Brazil and feel they got lucky. If Chile did this to them a superior team can knock them off so I do no think they will win unless conspiracy happens. I sure hope it remains clean all the way but with FIFA you never know.

Neymar celebrated like he did something and he did not do s*1@t. Colombia Uruguay should be excellent. Both teams play well. Holland though has really kicked ass. They are going to be very tough to beat

That's not a fact, not with Brazil and not with any team. By your logic, for example, since Germany beat Portugal and Portugal beat Ghana, Ghana should have been an easy pray for Germany. Yet, it wasn't.

Brazil always had problems with smaller teams, mostly in the qualifying phases. But the further they go, their game is a totally different one. At lease it was like this in the past, we'll see if it happens again now. And yes, they got lucky, but luck is also part of football :)

I must say Brazil is feeling the pressure for playing at home. Ali that crying...

It became a disfunctional team, fragile psychologically.

I am thinking the same, I forgot to add this in my previous posts. Brazil are under a huge pressure, not only because of their image, but also because, in the past, horrible things have happened when the team lost early at WM (suicides, violent protests, even the economy went down in Brazil). All these things AND the expectation of people in the world (Brazil is still considered the best football team in the world by many) weights a lot on the players and the coach. It's not easy to play under these conditions. For them, the fact that they're playing home is a curse.

They had not won the cup at home and yes I heard when they loose suicides, etc. Why kill yourself when your team looses is beyond my comprehension. Chicago teams loose I get upset for that day maybe shed a tear but kill myself? Never.

Give me a freaking break. Just a game..

The protests which do become violent and destructive is also very stupid as Brazil prides itself as tourist destination and I would hate to travel there for pleasure and be in the middle of that mess.

I never had a desire to go there and I do hope they loose. This has been a different world cup like for example what Colombia is doing they have never got this far before. They could go further and could upset Brazil. They have some fast players like Brazil.

I cannot let my emotions towards Brazil blind me. I know they have the most World Cups and are recognized as the best ever. There is a respect there for what they have done. The pressure is very intense and also believe it is curse to play at home. Away the pressure is not as high.

I dont want to be in their shoes. I just want someone else to win.

Because in Brazil football is like a religion. They are a poor country and football is about the only good thing there. Protests happen because many people think (and for good reason IMO) that money should be spent feeding people, providing health care and so on, instead of building football stadiums to host the WC.

I don't know why you want someone else to win, I would love to see them winning just for those people that live for football at such intensity.

I know it is like a religion and the protests you mention I totally agree with that. They spent I don't know how many billions and they moved people out of small homes or apartments and now they live in tent cities in the shadows of the stadiums. Also I heard the majority of the stadiums built are just for the world cup use and that is it.

What lunacy is that? Feed and help your people forget the other stuff. So I 100% agree with those protests. I thought you meant protests if they lost like looting, etc. I do not agree with that.

As for not rooting for them. I just never liked them. I am a fan of Spain although they sucked this cup and I like the US since I live here. I do like some other teams also.

Best of luck friend

    • Who uses Outlook anymore? Seriously. When you have open-source and completely free clients such as Thunderbird, Outlook is really obsolete now.
    • "Low price of just $340" ? I don't think so, especially when these same memories were less than $100 just last year before the AI craze started.
    • Spyro: A Realm Beyond revealed by Toys for Bob, the first new entry after almost 20 years by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The Xbox Games Showcase had a surprise reveal from Activision that wasn't related to Call of Duty. The Microsoft-owned publisher revealed a brand-new Spyro game, confirming the return of the series that last had a brand-new entry appear nearly 20 years ago. Watch the new Spyro: A Realm Beyond trailer above, which shows off a new look for the iconic dragon. While most of the trailer is a rendered cinematic, the very end does feature a snippet of gameplay captured on PC. The development team working on this project is Toys for Bob. This is the same studio that delivered the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remasters that brought back the original games for fans. "We are huge Spyro fans ourselves and we are so excited that 'the adventure continues'," says Toys For Bob Studio Head, Paul Yan. "I know the wait has been excruciating but we’re so thrilled to finally come out of stealth and confirm that a new Spyro game is indeed what we’ve been up to these past few years." As is evident from the trailer, Spyro has grown since his previous adventures, and that means he is better at flying too. Players will be able to fly around with freedom for the first time in the series this time, and not just inside mini-levels. "In Spyro: A Realm Beyond, Spyro will experience the freedom of true dragon flight," adds Yan. "He’s small, but mighty, so we had to do a lot of different experiments to explore how he could be both nimble and still be very physical when actively pushing his way through the air." The studio promises the return of whimsical worlds to explore, with plenty of treasure and activities to find. There is a new antagonist coming in to threaten this peaceful world too. Moreover, Tom Kenny is returning to voice Spyro. Spyro: A Realm Beyond is releasing sometime in Spring 2027 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
    • They couldn't have done a better job, this is beautiful!
    • Oh, of course not. The real "victims" are the people who snipe kids in the head, have killed more journalist than all the worlds wars combined, do double tap strikes on medical personnel, claim history started on October 7th, have a $700 million dollar annual Hasbara budget and pay influencers $7k a post to spout exactly this kind of propaganda. How dare you question the most moral army in the world. Victimhood belongs to these genocidal freaks alone. Anyone who denies that is literally Hitler. If you're going to support a terrorist state, the least you could do is come up with better talking points.
