I can't find the original thread so I'm creating this threads. Mods feel free to merge threads.

Can someone send me an invite please? Apparently I was sent an invite awhile ago but it never showed up. I hope someone can still invite me.

Thanks!

Don't be lazy and use search, please :P

I actually did search. This thread wouldn't come up. I just realized I wasn't in the Microsoft console sub section when I was looking for the thread. The search is pretty useless tbh. I clocked forums and searched "Xbox one preview" and I figured this would be the first result and wasnt

I have no idea if I'm to late but I guess I'll throw my name in the pile, SyntheticVirusZ.

Would also love an invite. Want to try that new controller firmware, maybe it'll stop having to reboot my xbox every other day. GT: Egyptian Player

invites sent.

btw. I'm Captain8000. just so you're not like 'who's this random guy adding me' hahaha

The latest preview build seems to have made the UI overall a bit snappy, and the controller firmware update has made the overall startup time for the controller even that much faster (think the official word is it has gone from 4 to 2 seconds, and I definitely have noticed it), but once again it has introduced some issues with Watch TV.

I am back to having major issues with it Losing my TV Signal. I have already reported it, but I really must have a combination of components that the One just dislikes for whatever reason. There is now a new issue I have never seen where when I try to Watch TV, it just displays a screen of White Noise and never fixes itself until I back out of Watch TV and watch it again.

I may once again have to go back to not running my Cable Box through the One, just as I finally got my wife and father used to using it. Not much I can do really but wait until they fix it again. I may just finally make the decision to opt out of the Preview program once and for all though. Which sucks as there are some nice perks to being a part of it. Oh well.

I added you mike ;)

I've added you back. Your name isn't being applied to the invite friends section of the preview dashboard, i'll keep periodically check and you when it does!

Edit: If people could quote me here when they do, so i get an email notification, that'd be lovely!

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
