Ness
Well, I've had this iBook for about a year now and with my luck the warranty expired a week ago. I dropped a spoon on my keyboard and the spacebar became sticky. I popped it off and fixed it (or so I thought). Later on I popped it off again but now it won't pop back on. I don't have $100 or the time to pay and let Apple replace my keyboard. Any advice or suggestions?

danbalsh
I don't' think your supposed to pull off individual keys on laptops :( So i'll have to concur with Dessimat0r and say you'll have to attempt to glue it back on.
frod
wow don't listen to these guys ;P the key should pop on. maybe you are not aligning it correctly? perhaps you are not sticking the little metal support thing in its little clips? there is a small chance you broke the little clips off of the key or whatever. in this case i don't know what to suggest. gluing the key in place would just cause it to not move up and down and i don't know what the point in that would be.
