+BudMan MVC Posted August 1, 2014 MVC Share Posted August 1, 2014 So my son just passed his series 7, he is going financial route vs IT like his old man. While I am very proud of him, curious if anyone has experience in both fields and could make some comparisons for me to better understand the accomplishment level. I know its 6 hour test.. Would you say its equivalent to say CCNA or NP, or say something like MCSE? This is an odd ball type question, which is why asking in the general area vs my normal tech areas. If not IT related, if you have changed fields in either direction where you have taken the series 7 how would you compare it to your previous/current field exam/certifications?
