The SEC?? What is that...I gotta go with the Big 10.

They're sending 8 teams to bowl games (that ties them with the Big 12 which is another strong conference) 5 of the 11 teams were ranked in the top 10 at one point or another (Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa & Purdue) and another two (Minnesota and Wisconsin) were in the top 15.

That's just awesome.

Yep. Big 10 by far. This, with Penn State having an off year.

But here in the SEC we play footbawl. I remember when GA played Wisconsin in a bowl during Ron Daynes last year. All the announcers were all over Dayens jock talking up how incredible he was and UGA would struggle with him. He was shutdown quicker 'en greased **** out a ducks ass. That's just one of those you-femisms we like to use.

Tampa Stadium became a sea of red as the 11th ranked Bulldogs squared-off against the youthful Badgers and their powerhouse running back Ron Dayne. The game was a classic test of size vs speed.

Surprisingly a Bulldog back stole the show as Georgia took control of the game early compiling 123 rushing yards in the first quarter en route to a 12-0 lead. Georgia RB Robert Edwards notched 68 yards and two TDs in the period.

The young Badger line, which started five freshman, could not match the quickness of the Bulldog defense as Dayne was repeatedly hit in the backfield before he could get any forward momentum. He would finish with just 36 yards on 14 carries.

Meanwhile, Georgia quarterback Mike Bobo was almost perfect on the day and would set an NCAA record for consecutive pass completions in a game with 19 straight. His favorite target was Hines Ward who would make 12 catches for 122 yards.

The Bulldogs would prevail 33-6 with Bobo taking home the MVP award and Edwards finishing with 110 yards. The Badgers matured however and would go on to win the Big Ten and the Rose Bowl the next year. Dayne would go on to set an NCAA career rushing record and win the Heisman Trophy.

Recognize any names in there? Dayne is jsut about to be demoted to towel boy, Robert Edwards would have been great but blew his knee at the pro bowl (He made the Pro Bowl, and that was where his career nearly ended in a 4-on-4 beach flag-football game), and we all know who Hines Ward is, right?

please, like this is even a contest...

what conference has the most ranked teams in the nation EVERY year? what conference PLAYS the most ranked teams...EVERY year? What conference WINS the most bowl games...just about EVERY year?

T H E S E C !!!

LSU LSU LSU, i'm from Baton Rouge and a Tiger fan like no other...we also have the loudest fans and drunkest fans in the nation.

um, hello? did you read my post? i used acutual stats to prove that THE BIG TEN has the most ranked teams last year. they also won the most bowl games last year. so what are you talking about? do any of you SEC fools have any proof to back up what you are saying?

look here if you don't believe me:

http://www.angelfire.com/sports/conferenceratings/

you guys talking SEC crap have no proof whatsoever!

um, hello? You haven't seen us mention that this year the SEC is on a totally different level than the other conferences. I guess this is gonna have to come down to the bowl match ups this year.

Georgia - Purdue

Florida - Iowa

Auburn - Wisconsin

I see Georgia and Auburn winning, but Florida may have trouble with a freshmen QB in a bowl situation.

Yes we've seen you "mention" the sec is on a different level. How? Back it up with some proof. And stop using the georgia/wisc bowl game that happened years ago. That does nothing for you this year.

The sec never has the most ranked teams. That's usually the big 12. The sec never wins the most bowl games. That would be the big 10 or big 12. Try using actual facts to back it up instead of your feelings.

    • Wow, Microsoft IS cooking lately... This only shows that they COULD improve, they just chose not to for whatever reasons. That obsession with AI was destroying them from the inside out.

It closes the remaining gaps with qBittorrent and fixes the Windows settings/tray/splash issues several of you hit. Fixed Settings now actually save. A whole class of preferences — speed limits (and the alternative limits), max active downloads, seed ratio, listen port, max connections, DHT/uTP/encryption, VPN interface, kill switch and proxy — weren't being persisted and reset to defaults on every launch. They now round-trip correctly. (Thanks to everyone who reported "the upload limit always goes back to 0".) Splash and tray toggles stick on Windows. Turning off the startup animation (or "close to tray") no longer reverts — the Windows registry stored these booleans as integers and the UI was misreading them. Close-to-tray hint. The first time the window hides to the tray you get a one-time notification, so the app doesn't look like it vanished (Windows 11 tucks new tray icons into the overflow). macOS Dock icon size. The icon filled its canvas edge-to-edge and rendered larger than neighbouring apps; it now uses the standard safe-area padding. Native file picker language. The "Torrent file / All files" filter in the open dialog follows the app language instead of being hard-coded. Added — qBittorrent parity Alternative speed limits toggle — a turtle button in the toolbar flips your throttled limits on/off instantly, independent of the scheduler. Follow system theme — switch light/dark automatically with the OS (Settings → Appearance). Pre-allocate disk space — reserve the full file size up front to reduce fragmentation (Settings → Downloads). Recheck data on add — optionally force a hash check when adding a torrent, so existing or partial files on disk are detected. Port status indicator — a 🔴 dot in the status bar shows whether your listen port looks reachable (UPnP/NAT-PMP + listen state; fully local, no external check). Add torrent from URL — File → Add torrent from URL (Ctrl+U) fetches a remote .torrent and routes it through the normal add dialog. Export .torrent — right-click a torrent → Export .torrent to save its metadata file. Already there (in case you missed it) Watch folder — auto-add .torrent files dropped into a monitored directory (Settings → Files). This release just surfaces it. Incomplete files already carry a .!bt suffix until they finish. Under the hood Regression tests for the settings-persistence and Windows boolean bugs. A new Qt Quick Test harness covering the startup splash and the design-system widgets. • Disabling open on hover, great! That was so stupid! They need to do a fix, where if a network share is disconnected, it doesn't hang when opening "This PC" for 20 seconds.
