I foolishly bought one of these keyboards:

http://www.amazon.com/QQ-Tech%C2%AE-Wireless-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Handheld/dp/B00BALK9CM/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1407941012&sr=1-8&keywords=bluetooth+keyboard

Does not work with my Galaxy 10, even tho it says works with Android 3.0+ tablets.

My tablet or my PC will not detect the bluetooth signal.

Before I return it, does anybody have suggestions ?

Thanks.

No specific directions for pairing in the KB manual.

Both my laptop and tablet scan for bluetooth devices, but the fully charged keyboard is not detected.

edit:  Boy -- smack me with a dumb stick.

Detailed instructions are right on the Amazon web page that I ordered from.

It pays to read !

Check this vid at 1:50.  Also, is is stock Android or a ROM?  May be an issue with a diff ROM.  Got another system you can test the KB on?

^ You are correct.

I suspected some other thing on the keyboard needed pressed, but wasn't sure what.

The litte B, bluetooth key needs pressed and held to activate the detection.

Oddly, the keys don't radio consistenty to the tablet.

Thanks for your help tho.

So you got it working?

^ Sorta working.

Keys don't press easily, nor can you count on the keyboard to transmit to the tablet.

Or the tablet isn't always reacting.

It technically works -- just not reliably.

I may return the keyboard any way.

Ahh, well.  Try it on a different device if you can.  At least you would know if it is the KB or the tablet.
