Real mac, if they werent so much more expensive and easy to upgrade etc.

The real deal.. No drivers, no messy kext and BS to replace.. Don't have to be terrified when you update.. Plus, hardware is very well built.. Also, easy to work on and replace parts.. Only downfall to "replace parts" the CPU is soldered onto the logic board.. So, if you have to replace your logic board.. They are pretty expensive due to this.

My only issue with the real Mac is the price.

I've dabbled with Hackintoshes off and on, personally if I really wanted to use OSX I'd get the real thing and get the best experience. I've had decent results but have yet to run into a DIY setup that's 100% reliable/hassle free. For me the OS is just a once in a while thing so I've never picked up a real Mac, not a big deal if it splats and I can deal with the occasional problems, but not something I'd want to rely on either.

Getting HDMI to run a second display on Hackintosh is very problematic. So get a real iMac and use bootcamp to boot windows too. Little expensive but best of both worlds.

I prefer real, I liked the hackintosh but everytime you do an update you have to pray the PC boots back up.
