bootskin problem...

i just downloaded bootskin so i could change the boot up since everything else is changed now....the problem is when i change it to a boot skin then restart to see if it worked.....it shows the windows xp professional boot screen but it's blue and green and like really bad looking...i dont have sp1, could that be the problem ???

nevermind...i guess the bootskin i tried just didn't work...the stardock one that came with it didn't but the mac osx atomic one doesn't work i guess...

Some of the Bootskins people upload are problematic palette wise because they don't change the resolution or color depth correct.

Did you say you had problems with any of the default ones?

no it wasn't a default one...but now that you say that i might see if i can fix the bmp image....what size does it need to be? desktop size ? or something else? and it has to be 16 colors right ?
