The videos I record are either out of sync or have no sound. I've been reading through and it has been a common issue for many. A recent patch supposedly resolved this but I'm still experiencing issues.

I haven't read anything on permnament fixes, but Xbox Support will most likely tell you to factory reset, remove the profile and to clean persistant storage. All 3 are temporary "fixes", so I wouldn't go through the hassle. Some have reported it somehow makes it worse.

More have mentioned just switching off the console for a minute and trying again will "re-allign" the audio, but again, this isn't a pernament fix nor will it fix previous videos. The problem is between the X1 and the cloud as the data is streamed. It's likely going to take more than just a dash update to solve properly.

For now, there's not another preview build until January afaik, so you'll need to live with it a bit longer, unfortunately.

Yeah we're going to have to wait. I found a way for twitch to archive my broadcasts and this solution works rather well as I don't need to save footage on disk and can export to youtube.

Out of curiosity, are you talking about using the gamedvr while your broadcasting via Twitch, or just using it while you are playing?

I was going to say that some games block recording audio with the gamedvr. Its not a gamedvr issue, but a choice by the developer. Its pretty annoying.

Ahh now this I did not know, that would explain why it's glitchy. I'm not using the gamedvr at all, just twitch and changed my settings to archive temporarily, it gives me enough time to send broadcasts to my linked youtube account.

Oh, your thread title made me think you were talking about the actual gamedvr function, but your just talking about twitch streaming. I was confused.

Well I was on GameDVR but since I have problems I am now using Twitch as a last resort.

Oh ok, well I have not run into a sync issue yet with my clips and I already have 76 clips. The only clips I have without audio are my NBA2K clips, which is due to the developer not allowing audio to be recorded, not a glitch. It looks like there is some specific combo of variables leading to the issue people are running into. Hopefully those get resolved.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
