I tried using the pin I set up or whether I can make any adjustments to the password I would use - no luck.  I have to use my Microsoft account password?

Yea you use your first name as the Username and your Microsoft account PW as your password.

Or rather that's what I had to do make it work last time I tried it.

Ok a bit annoying but I'll seldom have to connect anyway so no big deal.  Thank you

username:  microsoftaccount\<microsoft account email address>

password: microsoft account password

Basically, you have to set the domain to be microsoftaccount.

Sibasish - Welcome to neowin.
Please dont open 3 year old threads, especially if it is to say Thanks.

Its nice you're thankful - but it adds to clutter.

Feel free to open your own thread if you have a similar RDP Win login question.
